What is ADHD Coaching?
An ADHD coach works with those impacted by ADHD to better understand their ADHD brain, identify/execute goals, and celebrate the wins along the way.
For me, the power of ADHD coaching lies in a forced pause and opportunity to determine what you want your future to look like and how to get there. We live in a society that is so fast paced even neurotypicals aren’t afforded the opportunity to pause and reflect. When you add the difficulties ADHDers may have with pausing, self-awareness, and emotional regulation, we end up living life on autopilot, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsatisfied without understanding why.
ADHD coaching provides a time to explore what’s worked in the past, how those successes can be applied to current struggles and create a plan moving forward. It’s about being intentional in building the life you want.
